Round Teapot in silver plated. Re-edition from a model created circa 1890 by Christopher Dresser, born in Glasgow the 4th, July, 1834 and dead in France, Mulhouse the 24th November 1904. He was, with William Morris, one of the most important British designer of the Victorian period.

Christopher Dresser was one of the precursor of the contemporary design and its work on silverware was resolutely modern and innovative. His original creation are on many museum, and more particularly on the Victoria Albert Museum.
