Set created in 1900 by the french magazine Les annales politiques et littéraires, for its readers against subscription. Designed by the ceramist Edmond Lachenal (1855-1955) and produced by the French Lunéville Manufacture Keller et Guérin.
Each piece is colored thanks to an adjustable sprayer with separate color compartments making each piece unique. The very precise design is obtained by using a tin foil stencil.
Alongside the faience table set, a tea and a coffee set were created such as a glass set by the French Daum Manufacture (Nancy). The production stopped in 1914 after the Lunéville Manufacture burning that destroyed stencils. Since the Rispal donation in 2005, the French musée d'Orsay owned several pieces of that "Mistletoe" set.
