This model was created by Creil Manufactory at this time called St Cricq-Casaux & Cie before merging with Montereau, in 1840.
The model was conceived between 1834 and 1840. It existed in several colors, but this combination of pink and green is very rare and makes this set particularly decorative and in the perfect spirit of the beloved 18th-century chinoiseries in the taste of Boucher's designs.
The set is composed of 8 plates, each marked in colored letters "PORCELAINE OPAQUE / DE / ST CRICQ CASAUX & CIE / À CREIL / MÉDAILLE D'OR / 1834" with the number of the model stamped in the paste. A 9th plate with a crack from the same model is free-added to the set.
