The female character features typical Marie-Antoinette's colors in the Sevres Manufacture. Removable hats, forming lids. Each character is heavily gold highlighted and signed below with Jacob Petit's initials in blue letters.

Jacob Mardochée (1797- 1868), well known under the name of Jacob Petit since 1816, was a famous french porcelain manufacturer, student of the french painter Antoine Gros. He was at the head of the Fontainebleau Manufacture before only being dedicated to ornamental porcelain. His style, very recognizable with its vivid colors and its picturesque details, was decried through his lifetime. Nowadays, Jacob Petit is very valued because his style is know considered as typical of a certain kind of 19th-century style, with wonderful know-how.
