Letter folding rack in the form of a toast rack with one central fixed division and six flanking moveable divisions on an arched base and bun feet; 12cm height.
Maker's mark, 255 and PODR lozenge-shaped mark for 9 May 1881.
Very famous designs by Dr. Christopher Dresser, the Victoria Albert Museum, and NY Met Museum own similar, these are very rare, and astonishing pieces.
