Tétard Frères was a french silversmith company created in 1880. Edmond Tétard, the creator, won a Gold medal at the Great Exhibition of 1900. Initially, the house was specialized in Louis XV's style pieces. His three sons took over the company in 1901 under the name of Tétard Frères. After 1920, the company worked with avant-garde designers such as Louis Tardy. The company was exceptionally rewarded at the Colonial Exposition of 1931 with ten medals.
