Very rare and fancy silver-mounted glass claret jug in the shape of a walrus. Realistic hinged head forming a lid, with a glass handle on the back to manipulate the jug.
Inspired by the exquisite animal-shaped claret jugs created by Alexander Crichton in the late 19th century.
Stamped with the silversmith marked PJC and with London hallmarks for silver made in 1995.
