Longchamp is a manufactory that was created in 1830 in Burgundy. It was first specialized in fine majolica inspired by Rouen and Moustier ornaments then reused 18th-century-inspired patterns starting from 1905. The manufactory always produced high-quality majolica and won several medals at Great Exhibitions and French Salon des Arts Decoratifs through the 19th century. Until the middle of the 20 century, the company was flourishing.
